This a critical step in the publication process, because:
Please note that manuscript production cannot begin until the Author Information Form has been completed.
Following editorial acceptance and your manuscript's entry to our production systems, the Corresponding Author for the manuscript will be sent an email with a link to access the form.

Corresponding Authors will be asked to review and, if necessary, complete metadata relevant to:
A welcome email from Cambridge will be sent to the Corresponding Author following editorial acceptance. This email will contain a link to the login area for your Author Information Form.
Please note that this is a separate email to the editorial acceptance email sent on behalf of your journal.
You must have a Cambridge Core account to access your Author Information Form, for data security reasons. Using a Cambridge Core account also enables you to save your progress and come back to the form later. If you already have a Cambridge Core account, you may use your existing credentials to log in. Otherwise, you will need to create an account.
Please note that the Cambridge Core credentials used for the Author Information Form are not the same as the credentials used for any of our Online Peer Review Systems, or on our Author Hub .
If you have made any changes to metadata in the Author Information Form, these will be reviewed by Cambridge. If your journal uses digital publishing agreements, the nominated signer(s) will be sent a publishing agreement to review and sign from noreply@sign.ironcladapp.com.
If you have any questions about our digital publishing agreements, please see our publishing agreement FAQs.
If you have already signed a publishing agreement, you may be asked to sign a new one. It is important that you do so. This new agreement will replace any previous agreements.
Your manuscript will then pass into production. You should expect to hear from your Content Manager or Production Editor shortly after.
Changes will be subject to administrative review by Cambridge, to ensure accuracy and compliance with our publishing ethics policies.
You can reorder the authors in the Author Information Form. The order of authors does not affect your publishing agreement, but will be reflected in the published article.
Please note that you must have prior agreement from all other authors to change the order of authors.
You can make a request to change the Corresponding Author of your manuscript within the Author Information Form. Changes to Corresponding Authors are subject to administrative review before the rest of the Author Information Form can be completed.
The title listed in your publishing agreement at this stage is provisional. You will have the opportunity during the proof stage to request any changes to your manuscript’s title before your article is published.
Please complete the Author Information Form and sign the agreement as your article cannot move into production until the agreement is signed.
Following editorial acceptance, we may carry out some initial manuscript checks before sending your Author Information Form. Please continue to check your junk folder.
